Honestly, all of the alcohol would be better much colder. But that's just me.

A captain's a leader, yes. By caravan do you mean a convoy? Or something else?

It's going to vary cross-culturally but where I'm from a captain is the person in charge of a ship.

[Not always. Depends on the ship, but Ari Tayrey's not going to get into rank-and-structure intricacies. She's also holding back on the critical bit of information - starship - because all too often that won't carry, not when some people haven't even gotten beyond their own planet before.]

Yeah, there's usually a convoy of caravans. Elves use them to bring things up from the south and the like.

So yeah, a captain would a Caravan Leader.

Sounds about right to me. So if you were too young to be used to drinking, you'd have watered wine instead, so you didn't get drunk on one glass and act stupid in front of the captain.
