About: Known throughout fandom as the Jane Austen Cat Wizard, and with good reason. He has it all, he has a tragic backstory, he can pull off an elegant long jacket, he has a cat! Herr Widogast is a wizard with a strong cause who just wants to 'leave the world better than he found it'. This man is inquisitive and ambitious to a fault, with a never-ending thirst for knowledge which could very well prove advantageous in the glittering decadent swirl of ton-life.

Also, I just want to put sad wizard in a waistcoat and cravat.

i don't know anything about the canon, but what pretty artwork!!!

i think he would do really well on the academic side of the world?? he could be a student or a magic teacher, if he wanted!!

Wow you are super friendly and I appreciate/respect that! The canon is long (141 x four hour episodes) but you are right on the mark, he does eventually end up as a teacher at a magic acadamy! And he has magic cat which makes things better!

Also, I can see him also going into detective work as someone who suss's out potential blackmail plots-- if there is mystery, he wants to solve it!

With how Caleb made himself seem like a pathetic tatterdemalion in early C2, I think he'll likely see through Ducky pretty quickly, and they'll either become friends, or like two cats who are wary of one another.
