[It was a stranger to him, and Eliot hadn't had nearly enough alcohol yet to be as charming and hospitable as he should have. This was a party and he felt perfectly acceptable in his dress, but there were far too many questions dangling their participles around in his brain for him to be the Eliot of old. Thus, he leaned hard on what he knew best. Sarcasm, and biting wit when necessary. They weren't the best options that he'd learned and he certainly hadn't done well trying to rule with them, but right now he wasn't in Filory, and there was no crown upon his head.

Moving to the swirling gait of a dance, Eliot lifted a brow when the gentleman gained height when hands addressed hands and waist. He might have gone for the shoulder, but it was obviously preoccupied. ]

So, the little kitty is a he and a fey. That's gotta be a blast. It's interesting you got to bring the little man with you. I barely got by with the clothes on my person it seems. [There's never a problem with meat and potatoes. Eliot is obviously not a vegetarian himself. His feet are swift as they move through the throng of dancers, he keeps the german close, and while there's always room for another to lead him-- Eliot doesn't mind taking the lead if that's how it goes.]

I did find myself naked and alone in your fair city recently. It's quite a gag. I'd give my right hand for a pack of smokes and a few bottles of liquor. Well, maybe not my hands, but a toe?
